Here is the browser market share for April 2008, based on traffic to my top site:
In April, IE lost another 1.03% and was now below 60%. Most of the market share went to Firefox, which gained 0.89%. Safari was strong in April, gaining 0.15%. April marks the first time since we started tracking browser market share that IE dropped below 60%. Microsoft appears to be losing its stranglehold on the browser market, despite making IE an integral part of the Windows operating system. No wonder Microsoft is eager to get the additional traffic Yahoo! can bring!
