Here is the browser market share for April 2009, based on traffic to my top site:
Google Chrome: 4.64%
In April, IE continued to lose market share, shedding another 0.41%. The big winner was Google Chrome, which gained 0.38%. Safari was unable to continue its momentum gained in March, losing 0.09% in market share during April. It’s worth noting that IE’s market share is now only 2 percentage points above 50%. At the current rate, we’ll see IE’s market share drop below 50% some time in Q4 of this year.
