Browser Market Share, June 2011

Here is the browser market share for June 2011, based on traffic to my top site (number in parentheses shows change from May):

IE: 39.44% (-0.09%)
Firefox: 34.24% (-0.58%)
Google Chrome: 22.51% (+0.93%)
Safari: 1.60% (-0.15%)
Opera: 1.46% (-0.20%)

In June, Google Chrome was the big winner, gaining market share at the expense of the other 4 browsers. It looks like the slowdown in Google Chrome in May was only temporary. The gap between IE and Firefox continues to widen, with IE now holding a 5.2% lead over Firefox.
