In October 2013, Google Chrome was the big winner in the browser war. Firefox and IE both suffered declines in market share.
Based on our data, Chrome increased its market share in September, while IE was the big loser during the month. IE was also in the news as a zero-day vulnerability was detected.
In August 2013, Google Chrome returned to its winning ways, gaining 0.74% to reach 41.58% of market share.
Based on visits to our top web site, IE was the big winner in July 2013, and Google Chrome lost market share for the first time since January.
