Here is the browser market share for May 2008, based on traffic to my top site:
There was little change between May and April, with IE and Firefox both basically holding steady. The good news for Microsoft is that it did not lose market share in May (in fact it showed a very small gain). The bad news is that this is the second straight month where IE’s market share was below 60%. These days Microsoft’s focus doesn’t appear to be in IE, and it will be interesting to see if IE will lose more ground to Firefox (or even some of the smaller players) during the summer months.
